Seeking a Data Scientist to join the team in a newly opening office in London and help shape the future of analytics and reporting for the fantastic brand.
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing predictive models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to support the business decisions. You will work closely with the Analytics team to identify opportunities for growth and optimization, using data to inform the strategies and drive success.
As an experienced Data Scientist, you will understand the importance of clear and insightful reporting when it comes to measuring impact.
The team have designed and developed processes that extract data from various internal sources. They need you to help transform this data into meaningful data elements that are relevant to the business, combine them, and load them into various types of database schemas, to assist the teams in assessing performance, and making informed decisions based on this data.
To further enhance capabilities, they work collaboratively within their Data Science team to build data models. This allows them to not only report on the current state of the brands in the marketplace, but also predict future trends and make proactive changes to improve performance.
You will also be working with stakeholders and heads of departments to ensure the right questions are being asked and the answers given are timely, accurate, appropriate, and insightful, and so excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be key.
We are looking for you to combine strong technical skills with the experience of a practitioner operating in a business environment.
You will also need hands-on experience in Python, and knowledge of various machine learning techniques such as clustering, decision tree learning, and artificial neural networks, along with their real-world advantages and drawbacks.
