In this position, you'll be a key player in the Product Development team, which operates on a global scale across multiple tech hubs. You'll collaborate with nearly 600 professionals, driving innovation and delivering exceptional technology solutions under the guidance of our CTO-CPO.
Responsibilities:
- Database Management: Build and manage Database hosting capabilities using Infrastructure as Code, spanning on-prem and cloud servers, including DBaaS.
- Technology Innovation: Work with cutting-edge technology to enable our Cloud Journey.
- Infrastructure Development: Build Database Infrastructure Platforms in collaboration with developers, providing guidance on distributed systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Improve, tune, and optimize Database platforms based on business needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- Expertise: Strong knowledge in AWS database services, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, including administration, optimization, and high availability configurations.
- Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and configuration management using Ansible or similar tools.
- Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS, and deep knowledge of services like Aurora, DynamoDB, and RDS.
- Scalability and Distribution: Proven experience in building scalable and distributed database infrastructure.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
- Linux Experience: Competence in using and managing Linux distributions.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Best Practices: Knowledge of ITIL and DevOps principles, DB design, performance optimization, and security measures.
