This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work in either our London or Milton Keynes office 1-2 days per week.


Seeking a Marketing & Customer Activation Manager to help drive profitable sales growth through the development of activities to support our bookmaker customers to promote our products, and to manage specific marketing channels to drive consumer (bookmaker customers) engagement with our range of products.   

 

Key Responsibilities include:  

  • Working closely with Sales team to understand customer requirements to help engage their customers with our products, which will differ by territory eg: some may need product related content to help educate bettors, and others may wish to promote our products.
  • Where possible, work with bookmaker marketing teams to determine the level of support required.
  • Plan and develop appropriate marketing assets for retail and online eg: in-shop leaflets and posters, and online banners etc.
  • Identify additional opportunities to help educate and promote our products with our customers e.g.: for retail customers, creating staff competitions etc.
  • Shape and coordinate a program of key horse racing festivals internationally, to promote to our customers, by liaising with the Sales team to understand and agree the schedule. 

 

Skills and Experience: 
Experience & educational requirements:

  • Degree level preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years+ experience in marketing comms development and execution (ideally a mixture of b2b and b2c experience preferred).
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Exposure to working in fast changing markets.

 

Marketing competencies:

  • Track record in developing & executing marketing and communications plans – proven understanding of marketing mix.
  • Skilled in judging creative – cut-through comms in line with brand and tone of voice.
  • Working with marketing agencies.
  • Experience in managing website and social media content development and reporting.
  • Marketing budget management.

 
Personal competencies:

  • Well-developed influencing skills.
  • IT literate.
  • Commercially numerate and astute.
  • Excellent presentation skills – written & verbal.
  • Think outside the box for new ideas and solutions.
  • Team player.
