Sports Product Owner

We are hiring for a Sports Product Owner who will work closely with Technology, Traders, Delivery, Business Analysts and under the Sportsbook Director.

The right person will have a love for Sports and will drive the strategy and execution of our Sportsbook roadmap with a focus on producing world class products and features for our operators and end users.

The candidate will be forward thinking, analytical and solution led with experience delivering products across both digital and retail environments.

You will be an expert in Sports Betting with a sound understanding from an end user and business perspective. The candidate must have an excellent understanding of technology and data with an ability to translate to the wider business. The Product Manager will need to work collaboratively across multiple verticals to develop requirements aligned to the strategy and oversee the delivery process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Creation of the sportsbook product definition and delivery of the product suite.
• Data driven performance decision making.
• Competitor analysis across iGaming verticals.
• Backlog prioritisation.
• Production of epics, detailed requirements, and acceptance criteria for all Sportsbook product initiatives.
• Required to manage competing priorities with tight constraints.
• Deliver world class, progressive and innovative products across both digital and retail environments.
• ROI reporting.

Requirements:

• A deep passion for Sport and ideally Sports Betting.
• 3+ years of exposure to: Sports Betting, Gamification, Trading, Technology.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists to deliver world-class products.
• Ability to create product specs & capture technical requirements translated to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills across the wider business verticals including sports, commercial, accounts and technology.
• Data and Analytical approach.
• B2B experience advantageous.
• Experience delivering products across different markets namely Asia and Africa advantageous.
• Ability to manage heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
